I like these wheels. Not sure what they are or if they are available in scale however.

I made a set of these wheels years ago for a project that was turning into a replica of this coupe at the time; but don't know what happened to them. I think I sold them off with some other stuff. They are early Halibrands if I recall correctly. I took the rear wheels from the original AMT Double Dragster Fiat kit and grafted in the center hub piece from the Halibrands in the Revell Orange Crate kit. The front wheels might have been unmodified Orange Crate wheels.......going by memory here. E-mail me (don't send a PM) for a couple photos if you want JC.

Looks like the Halibrands at the front are reversed.

Check the sponsor decal "ESSO" on the front fender. It's been many, many, years since ESSO was a brand name.

We had an Esso in my hometown in the 90s, If I remember correctly. Overall, the coloring and grain of that photo looks convincingly vintage to me! If it was a modern shot, the audience would be much fatter and holding cell phones up to record the race, lol. Was there a vintage-gasser scene in the 90s? The pink n' purple script on the door is a bit suspicious I'm currently combing an Anglia gasser thread on the HAMB to see if it gets a mention anywhere.

That photo was taken at an Aussie track, per the HAMB.
