This thing is so tough looking..........why it's not finished already is beyond me?! LOL! Can't wait to see this one in color! Looks like Dennis got distracted by another sedan Dennis, any of your projects are a pleasure to watch, thank you for being an active participant. Hope you get back to this one someday Fear not, this one didn’t get back burnered again! I just had to take care of that motor mount situation on the ‘32 while the solution was fresh in my head. I didn’t get to the bench this weekend. Had a long day away from home Saturday at The Race Of Gentleman Santa Barbara Drags (which was phucking epic!) so Sunday I was low on energy and spending time with the wife and kids. I plan to keep going on the ‘28 this coming weekend.

Saw a bunch of photos on the HAMB, but I want video of Jimmy White's A coupe on the strip! For years now I've been listening to the old youtube audio from one of his street runs like, 10 years ago, and I need moooaar! Saw a brief Instagram clip recently of the coupe idling, and it still sounds the same.

Super Jealous of all you California Cats.

UPDATE!Spent some quality time at the bench today and I think I pretty much have all of the details for this model taken care of. I set up all of the driver controls. Simple clutch pedal pad from the Revell '32 kit series, Moon gas pedal from Tony Nancy 22jr, shift lever from my parts bin, hand operated master cylinder from an old Revell parts pack Tubular Roadster Frame and Revell Miss Deal funny car steering wheel. Mounted a modified Revell '40 Ford steering box. Added a hoop arm to the driver side spindle and then built a drag link using the rod ends cut off of a Revell '32 kit tie rod, .042” Evergreen rod and a Revell '29 Pickup pitman arm. Here's the steering linkage with the long ladder bars and front hairpins set into place. It's a cluster phuck but everything clears! I finished out the fuel injection by making some quarter inch long velocity tubes made from 3/32" Evergreen tube. Made a drive shaft using Revell '32 kit u-joints with 1/8" Evergreen tube. Here's all of the driver controls again with the roll cage installed. A few views of the driver controls with the body on. A couple views of how the engine fits with the completed injection. And a few mock ups! At this point this thing is pretty much ready for final clean up to start the paint process which I'm gonna try and take care of next weekend as well as a hobby shop run for paint.

Those injector tubes look wicked tough. Damn! The hand-op master cylinder is a part I'm not familiar with, very cool. Looks like I need to buy a Miss Deal kit (need the La Salle, too).
Also...apparently some Revell '32 kits were molded in dark grey??

Also...apparently some Revell '32 kits were molded in dark grey?? Thanks! One of my Revell ‘32 Sedan chrome trees turned out to be dark gray under the chrome. It definitely surprised me because every other kit I’ve had from the series (a lot!) were the same white plastic under the chrome, including 2 other sedans.
