Wow, another beauty from your bench! I think you nailed the overall look with this one. The color is spot on and your paint job looks very good too. I like the body modifications that you did. Especially the running boards with those side pipes look really good, and the grille fits perfectly to the overall look too. Nice work as always!

Nice, clean build. Color looks great plus all the mods look as if they came that way in the kit.

Hi Gary,
Your Ford came out really, really nice. I noticed you took care of a detail that most seem to miss on these '40s. The chrome strip on the side is a narrow piece on top of the raised body metal. Most people foil this whole raised portion and it comes out looking to wide. When I do an AMT '40 Ford I sand the poorly molded chrome strip off the body and replace it with a thin strip of styrene and then foil that. great job!!!!

Beautiful! I agree with the positive comments already posted. I think that this is the first time that I've seen a '39/'40 with quad headlights that really looks good. My only nitpick would be to do a little multi-color painting on them to minimize the "chrome lens" look.
Maybe I'm slipping, but I didn't even notice the high-back seats until others commented on them. Enough goofy things were done in the TRAK era that, to me, they still look like something somebody would have done then.
You've really captured the look and have combined it with excellent bodywork, painting, foiling, etc., etc.

the '39-'40s Fords are beautiful cars, and you've taken this one to the next level ! the custom work is flawless, the interior is gorgeous, the paint (color and application) is perfect !
