Thanks guys. Oh btw. I was going to add the hubcaps in the pic but the bare red steelies are growing on me. I might just do what I seen others do and add them on one side.

Excellent! I really like the red on black combination and the flathead is done up right!

Hard to believe there’s still someone out there that hadn’t built a Revell ‘32 Ford! The classic black and red combo looks good and so does the ‘32 Sedan flathead and the other traditional back dating. On the hubcaps, just use a couple small dabs of Elmer’s white glue. Just enough to tack them on and easily popped off if you change your mind later.

Nice! I dig the period-correct additions like the QC, backing plates, firewall, flatty etc...they transform the Revell deuce into the jewel it was meant to be! If you're going to leave the steelies unadorned, maybe hit those lug nuts with some steel or chrome paint.

Yeah I started a three window way back when I first joined trak but I sold it off because I didn't really like all the funky 90s parts. I wasn't really all that skilled or knowledgable about kits or parts as I am now. And the sedan flattie made it a hell of a lot easier this time to hot rod it. Lol. And I have a lot of time to sift through my buddy Bart's parts bins. Lol. I knew what I wanted to do just never materialized. Now it has. Lol

I like the back dating you did. The one side technique for wheel covers works for me, in most cases you can only see one side at at a time anyway. It's almost like having two different models as a wheel treatment package can and does change to whole vibe or "look" of a build. Nice job on your Deuce.

Really good looking Deuce Roadster! I agree that the backdating that you did really paid off, and I also like the combination of black and red a lot. Great job!

Great job Ray! When I first opened this, I thought I was looking at a "Big Deuce" because of the details...you hit all of the right buttons!

Thanks for the comments guys. I did add the hubcaps to the left side. I'll see if I can get pics up later. I do have a model meeting, tonight though so it might not be until tomorrow.
