Decided to go with dual quad in lieu of the Webers. Not aware of a 2-4V setup for a SBF in scale so I modified the unit from the Revell 427 Cobra SC.

Thanks Chris. The '67 is my favorite of the gen 3 Falcons. Got this recently. Couldn't bring myself to cut this one up for a racer.

Opened the back end of the scoop to take air in off the base of the windshield. Added a filler panel at the back of the chassis.

Got the intake and carbs painted. Tamiya TS-30 is my new favorite silver paint.

This is great! You've got my wheels turning I might have to dig out that 69 falcon dirt tracker and look at it.

Thanks Kerry. Fabricated a simple set of ladder/traction bars. Bumper/grille fitted. Cleaned up the wheel wells, removed the trim on the top edge of the rear fender and the script on the C pillar.

Looking good JC! Aren't those Chevy (AMT '59 El Camino) steel wheels on the front though? Wouldn't a set of Johan Mopar steel wheels look more like Ford steel wheels; or am I remembering incorrectly?

Thanks Ed, don't know what kit the steel wheels are from they were in my parts box. I don't have the'59 El Camino kit. I'll take a look at the steelies from the T-Bolt kit and see if they will fit these tires. I like the detail in these wheels however.

I'm pretty sure those steelies are the ones in the AMT '59 El Camino kit. Even the plastic color is a perfect match. But of course I don't know if AMT used them in some other kits as well? The Falcon is looking really good. Keep the updates coming.

Thanks for the info Niko. A search for Mustang steel wheels came up with this.

The T-bolt wheels fit the tires perfectly. Things are right again in the universe!
