While I was messing with the wheels thought I would open the slots at the front.

It really is the little details like this that add up to make a noticeably better model. Especially considering that the rear wheels have open windows. I also like the separate inner rim and "brake drum" instead of a one piece wheel back.

While I was messing with the wheels thought I would open the slots at the front. I was going to mention opening up the slots; but did not want to come off sounding 'pushy' or nit picking your build. Nice job on the wheels! They look a lot nicer now!

It seemed like a waste of effort to open the slots and leave the wheel backs solid. To open the slots I sanded down the back of the wheels until just a very thin layer of plastic remained then cleaned out the slot with a #11 blade. As you said Dennis if you make improvements along the way it elevates the overall build detail. Back half of the racing interior is complete. The tub I started with is shown on the right.

I would put brake drums behind the rear wheels. To me, nothing looks more unrealistic than wheels with nothing behind them. Full scale cars either have discs or drums behind the wheels.

Looking good JC. Excellent fab work there. I like the way everything just "fits".

Thanks Ron I like everything to look like it belongs there. Dove into the parts box to find a nice fiberglass racing style bucket and the lightest passenger seat I could find.

Removed the gas tank, fabricated bumper mounts and made a patch panel where the lower corner of the rear quarter had broken off.

Looking very good! Nice and precise fabrication work in all areas, as always. That's one of the reasons I like following your projects, so I'm happy to see more Falcons added to your stash. These are cool cars.
Can't wait to see more updates!
