Amazing work on a refreshingly different subject!!!
Though I'm not in the market for a resin version, I can't wait to see, how this one turns out...

I'll be in for one of these conversion kits too and will be happy to pre pay if you like Ed. Gary Thanks for weighing in and the offer to pre-pay Gary; but it's not necessary. I did not think I would get as many pre-paid orders for the '32 Ford roadster pickup cab; and once they started rolling in I had to stick with that method to keep things fair. I don't care to get back-logged the same way with anything else for a while. It's a different story if it happens organically with orders just rolling in. Somehow I feel slightly less pressured that way! LOL!

Nice work Dennis! Well thought out and executed. Good idea staggering the cuts on the pillars. I'm not familiar with the fordor. It looks like the rear door glass is longer than the front door glass. Is that how the full scale fordors are? This is definitely a cool subject! Can't wait to see it progress!

Is that how the full scale fordors are? This is definitely a cool subject! Can't wait to see it progress! Thanks! Yes, on the full scale Fordor the rear door windows are noticeably longer than the fronts. There are some things about it, though, that aren't 100% accurate. The upper span of the rear door windows are supposed to be arched but in thinking about how to do that my head started to hurt so I decided to leave it alone. Also, the quarter windows on the 1:1 are supposed to extend back further than the Tudor rear window line but I clearly elected not to do that either. Despite the differences, I'm happy with it.

It looks really good, and I'm sure you will have it where you want it in no time at all.

Lookin' good! That must be a hot primer, it really emphasized the seams. I had a project a while back where it didn't matter how long I let the primer shrink in; each subsequent coat would cause ghosting again. Maybe a sealer would have been a good idea, but I've never been able to find any!

Maybe a sealer would have been a good idea, but I've never been able to find any! It's Duplicolor sandable and if you sneak up on it at first it won't ghost all the lines like this but if you're lazy and impatient like me and you douse on 4 coats then it will! Haha. No worries. After the first round of wet 600 they don't come back on the re-prime. A lot of what's going on around the windows is ghosting and not actual flaws. I can't wrap my head around $11 for a can of Tamiya primer that's a third the size of a $7 Duplicolor can. I go through a lot of primer!

I tried to tell Dennis to switch to Tamiya but he's too cheap! LOL! Dennis, the Tamiya also sands a million times better than any of the Duplicolor primers!

The Tamiya stuff's nice but even more ruinous in Canuck Bucks! I use Plastikote primer from the auto-parts store. It's still like 15 bucks a can, but at least the cans are bigger!

Dennis, the conversion is coming along nicely.
I use Duplicolor primer. But Tamiya is great, just $$$. That's why I use it as a final unifying coat before paint, especially if I'm painting a light color.

Great work as usual, Dennis! Love the Fordor and the chop. Thanks for the great chop instructions, I can use those!
Ed, I’m good for three of these bodies!
