Whoa, now that's a hard chop!! Looks like you used BMF on the body? It looks tough as heck, haha. Over the last 3 years or so there have been several guys on the HAMB building '34 coupes in this sort of style--rough body, super hard chop, traditional wheel/tire package. I've often wondered if it must be difficult to drive a car with barely any windshield, but they look cool!
Nice job hiding the cut lines on the grille--I can barely tell where it was chopped!

It is a BAD resin body from Jimmy Flintstone that was even lower in the windshield at first. Had to cut it up 2mm to get it likte this. Yea. It is coverd with BMF to get the right bare metal look. It was pretty hard to get the chop of the grille without the cut line but with some scratching with my knife in between the vertical lines i finally got it as in te pics.

I never would have had the patience to apply all that BMF! LOL The result is impressive. I dig the rolling stock, the stance and black-and-steel monochrome look.
I built a model once using this JF body, and you're right, it's truly horrible. In my case I mounted it on AMT '34 fenders. What a battle! Like you, the only way to play to this resin"s "strengths" (such as they are), was to go for a rough and ready look.

Well nice save--sounds like that JF resin body was a real pig!

Hthank ypu for nice words!
Haha. Yea the body was a mess! The ”bullet holes” you see is from bad molding. The inside of the roof was about 1 cm thick in some places and the chop is brutal.
