I'm planning on building this Loosely based on a Keith Weesner Piece named the Kandy Krate. I'll use it as the background for future wip photos if You're not familiar with it. I say Loosely because I need to get a little Krazy every once in a while. I could go 4 or 6 carbs on a 283, or the Desoto Hemi that I've been saving. Hmm what engine do You guys think it should have? The Artwork from Keith is a copper/gold colored rpu but I just did that. So I'm thinking PURPLE or Kandy Green, something that will Explode My shelf. Our Buddy Bernard Kron has offered Me a set of bitchin Kool Rep&Mins Headers that will be sure to find there way onto this little project too. I met Bernard at a local club event that neither of us had ever attended before. I had a great time, Bernard is a Great Guy as I'm learning most of Us here are. So anyway hit Me with All of Your ideas and thoughts, as this needs to be the World's Koolest 29 RPU when it's finished!!

I have another set of the slots on the back, but they're from modelhaus and they're of equal quality or maybe better. I need to dig around My stuff and find a quick change housing so I can figure out where the rear frame will live, and how much of the box I'll need to cut away.

Dave, this is just SIC, man those parts go together like the mfg has designed them that way. Engine wise I'd be tempted to use on the the T-Bird mills from the Mysterion. So, are you going to have this completed in time for the NNL?

That thing is COOL! I don't know, Isn't a Hemi a little conservative for a radical build like this one? How about an Y-block Ford for power - Yesterday I found out that the blower manifold from AMT's '59 El Camino looks more or less exactly as one that was available for Y-blocks, and better yet, it fits the one from AMT's '56 Ford like a glove... A Studebaker engine could also look cool in this one - IIRC the manifolds from Revell's Parts Pack Cadillac engine can be re-worked to fit it.

Sweet, are you going to replicate the driver, too?

Only 9 more days!!! Even if it's not finished bring it along to add to the primer table. it's way to cool to not be shown.
Amazing were this is headed. Great work as always my friend.

NINE MORE DAYS!!! I don't think so Dave. I might have some primer on it by then. I could replicate the driver if I could shrink My SMOKIN HOT Girlfriend Shannon. LOL

Some more cutting and mad fabricating has Me a little closer to figuring out what I'm doing for a frame. This looks much more like Shannon, so much that I might have to paint this project Kandy Apple Red Red and put her name on the Lic. plate

Thanks Fletch! I'm trying to keep this build as short wheelbased as possible.
