Funny, I built a 29 rpu some years ago and called it the "apple krate", and it had some similarities too (short bed, channeled)...
I like this build anyway.

Another one for the "bumpfest". Dave Nelson's Kandy Apple Krate, a brilliantly simple variant on the Wessner Kandy Krate, full of honest patina and sweetly executed. I mentioned this in a post recently since it was a model I've never forgotten and it served as inspiration for my "Too Low" Deuce roadster.

That is one heck of a cool build. And a funny coincident is that i have almost finished a build that have the same look. But mine will have a blown Pontiac mill in it. This build really inspire me to finish mine!
