That's cool Gary, thanks for responding. I've attempted the same technique, but as you described, break-through is a real threat! I didn't have much luck. Maybe I just needed to be more patient.

Chris take the jack off of a pair of ear buds put it in the tubing; tap it lightly, and Ta-Da flared injector or tail pipes !

I actually finished this a couple of days ago but have no "glory" pictures yet. However I took a few pictures on my bench for now. Here's one of them. I see that I forgot to glue on the door handles. I'll get them on ASAP! Thanks for your help, patience and support for all the years (10) since I started this project. Gary Hosted on Fotki

Lookin' good! I like those decals. The colors all seem to work quite well together.

Love everything about it! Has the look for sure! Being a '40 sets it apart from all the other gassers. You're selection of decals and their placement is just perfect.

Beautiful little hauler Gary!
It's a shame, that no '40 grille was available for Ed's (great) castings.

Yeah, right Ed should have had the correct 40 grilles for the 40 body he was selling. Wait a minute, I was the one that made the master for Ed's 40 Willys coupe in the first place. And, nope, I never did get around to making the stock looking grilles. I should have at least tried to. My bad! Gary
