I like it! Looks like it was sectioned a bit? I think we need MORE posts like this, very cool thanks! Bob, he effectively sectioned it by taking off 4" off the lower edge of the body. It was channeled over the frame an additional 4", lowering it a total of 8". Check that shot where the owner's standing next to the car; he has to bend over to put his hand on the fender!

Wow, I'd forgotten this one existed - that's the problem when all your old Hot Rod mags are buried under newer stuff.
Who's gonna be first to section but not chop a Hudson then?

Nip, Can't tell you how much I appreciate your posting Duane Aspengren's Hudson. I was totally infatuated with the car when I saw the layout back in March '59. Couldn't keep the mag because in those days there were 3 or 4 of us who bought one copy of the latest issue based on a rotating roster. The guy whose turn it was to make the purchase read it first then passed it on the the next one on the list, and so on. By the time the March '59 got back to me it was too dog-eared to save. Have thought of that custom Hudson many times over the years. Now, thanks to Moebius,and Nip Tuck's posting, I can build it.
