And slicks on the fronts, what the? These rigs have to decelerate very quickly after a brief period of extreme acceleration...my guess is the front slicks provide better stopping traction?

And slicks on the fronts, what the? Check out this youtube vid at 3:40. There's a 55 Ford F-series with low air pressure on the front tires. While they aren't slicks, they do flatten out just like wrinkle walls do for increased traction. Pretty clever idea.

Dig those headers and overall home built "look" of this crate. No show car BS here, pure business.

In a collection I found a chopped resin 39/40 Ford that is chopped to perfection. I should get someone to cast them...fits AMT fenders/chassis perfectly..and the interior goes in perfectly as well.

I do not...sorry...I am semi illiterate when it comes to pics etc...and my flip phone does not do a good job! TRUST me...it is gorgeous! I THINK Ron Cash did it ages ago...YUP !! I JUST went and checked, and there is his little rectangular thingie inside the top! So..you know it was done right! I was hoping Ed would say..."Send it here...I'll cast it!"...but NOOOoooo....haha I forgot to say it is a coupe...it's not gonna last much longer in bare resin...I wanna build it!

Looks a lot like it! Watcha think? Need to get them cast? I like the rounded corners and the overall proportions and lines. Sometimes resin chopped bodies are too unique to the master maker, like Rik Hoving's '40 Coupe for Replicas & Miniatures. This one is is pretty classic and nicely done. I'd get one!
Here are a couple of other angles from the same web site:

Am doing mine as a very simple street rod...not a custom. Guy got it chopped and put his money into his flathead...MAYBE chrome reverse with spiders and blackwalls...
