hello !

i have not posted any builds for ages mainly because i haven't built much !
i pulled this old build out and with respect tried to TRaK-ify it ... what do you all think ?






and the questionable bit ..



i havn't done a pile of research but .. lets say
an enthusiastic hotrodder split the 8point dizzy into two 4pointers 'cause he was real talented

What scale are the wheels? They kinda look dubbish in size? That's my only prob. (because I am not used to cragars maybe?)

the direct answer would be .. they ain't 15" in diameter.

not that this makes them real but they fit 'period' tires
(rear) 1/24 monogram museum classics 1930 packard and (front) 1/24 monogram classics 1941 lincoln continental

i guess it comes down to .. and this is in scale form .. is it traditional

if you look at it as scale artwork .. not a small 100% period perfect car .
i don't have it to post but if you look at weesners 'zombie fly'
maybe i need to title it as 'artwork' or 'inspired by' .. is that outside the guide lines ?

not justifying .. just explaining my thoughts

Ok yeah, they wouldn't be trad...but if copying or building a model like artwork from someone like Weesner....yeah to accurately proportion the model, you have to dabble in scales.
The thing I dislike about making a decision here is how unfair it would be to others I have told NO about the scale differences with wheels in the past.

so if i specify that this is an 'artwork' inspired build that should keep the pease ?
i absolutely do not wish to have it thought that the wheels are 'dub' .. this was never the build intent .
