What do you guys think of Bobby Nunes' Leg Show Tee? I cant remember what year is showed up, just that I fell in love with it. Seeing that the Tweedy Pie is released again, I am thinking that the Ratrod version would make a good starting place. Is it too 70-'s, or too much show car? For me, it has been the quintescential Tee Rod.Perhaps with a different top??

Yea Bob, but I'm thinkn of ditching the top, chopping the windshileld, and making the upsweep on the rear of the body less radical. Maybe I should do a photochop.

I have no doubt it could be backdated style-wise.

Wow Glenn, I too have been crazy about this car since I first saw it as a teenager, I believe that that is a later photo of the car (from the early '70's) if I recall correctly, I first saw it in so-cal in '68 or '69, And I think it may have had different rear wheels and tires. When I saw it it had no top yet, but a lovely young lass in a mini-skirt in the passenger seat, so nobody would misunderstand where the name came from. Bobby Nunes was a member of the L.A. Roadsters, a club famous for it's dedication to documentation, so there should be lots of info and photos available, perhaps on line, I also think that the 'Rodder's Journal' has done an article or two on them over the years, so you might start there. Good luck with this project, I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Looks too seventies cartoon type show rod to me as it is. It might be ok if everything wasn't soooo exaggerated. JMO.
