Since the _real_ models have been sitting idle, I thought I'd update this one...starting to put it back together and replace the Version 1 parts with newly textured parts. Some new optional parts have been added: in addition to the steelies, '34 wires, and artillery wheels, I've added some torq-thrusts (still WIP), spindle-mount fronts, and M&H Racemaster rear tires with a red-tinted window option to allow a '60s style race-look build. The door number is for fun, might make a lakes-style build at some point. There are now wood roof bows to allow an open-top version. I think I'm basically going to make new parts for it until I learn more about what GTA 5 will allow in terms of vehicle customization. With the slicks, spindle-mounts, and tinted windows, it kinda needs a blower now!
Not much in the way of updates on this one, but I added a blower, moon tank, and some slots on the back, and did a quick render. But that's old news now. Moving on... This week I started putting together a 59A flathead. I made the mistake of choosing the diving-bell distributor because it uses less geometry/detail than the crab style, but now the fan placement is an issue. I've sorta cobbled together something that might work. The more I work on this stuff the less concerned I get with making everything entirely accurate, as most people will just go "oh, kewl, a model T. U shud put flames on it!". That said, I still want to get it in the ballpark!
A little update...Grand Theft Auto 5 has been delayed until September (from March), which means that the PC version probably won't be out (if at all) until 2014. This has pretty much squelched my hopes of getting this mod into that game. In the meantime, though, I'm working on getting an updated version into GTA 4. It uses most of the same parts, but the body is completely re-done, and some new bits added.
This is a good spot to drop a quick note or ask for help. If you are in a bad mood, this isn't the right spot to drop feelings. Thanks for understanding!
RodBurNeR: omg condensing years of model supply, tools and paints into one three drawer cabinet is tough! just the common use stuff, rest will be in boxes in a closet unless needed. this is rough lol

superflekmoonbird: Thanks Paul...they look good. Air temp may be part of it...for comparison some rattle cans (Tamiya) mention 50 degree F and above, Testors Lacquer says 70 degrees..
