Not kustom but I painted them...they are about 6'x5' in size, acrylic and really bad pictures but hard to get decent shots with all of the gloss medium used. Each painting represents anywhere from 30-50 layers of paint or more. Haven't painted in 18 months lost an area to paint in...was supposed to pursue after the ex finished nursing school but she decided an artist was not something she wanted to support for a few years, though I supported her through 5+ years of school...and to be honest, as much as I miss working on my art, I prefer not being with her... Last one was 1/2 done and yes, My studio at the time was the carport of my rental...

Interesting, for sure! Different catagory than what I dabble in. What are you using for ground? Unstretched canvas? Fibreglas? paper?

I use unstretched canvas dropsheets, I like the roughness of the canvas and actually use the seams with the painting. Then I prime the canvas with a thick coat of housepaint. The acrylics I use are liquid acrylics which I mix with gloss medium and then usually spray down with water once it's partly dried, which begins to reveal layers beneath the ones I have just laid down...the effect gives it a lot of depth and when I am finished, the canvas still looks wet.
