I have never felt a need to ask if any of my builds were TRaKable until now, as most everything I build is TRakable. On this one, no pics yet. It is my first build since 2011, too busy on my 1:1 Model A, but now its too cold in the shop.
... so I started building a '60s style dune buggy. They were kit cars, requiring a modification of a wrecked VW bug. They were sort of like the fiberglass T bucket kits of the same era, but sorta not. While growing up in my area of northern Calif., they were just cheap, fun, summertime cars, but often chromed up a bit in the engine compartment and with custom wheels, and occasionally kit bodies were ordered with metalflake gelcoat.
This build will have a custom paint job, chrome reverse wheels, the kit interior with the extra tuck and roll panels. ...but except for plug wiring the motor, it is pretty much a box build.
I looked back a few pages and saw one Meyer buggy discussion, but it is now closed and I did not see any clear conclusion on TRaKability. An answer either way is OK by me.

Interesting Russ, I'm not sure, but they were pretty cool in my time in NorCal too. I have a Hot Rod magazine from the late 60's with buggies on the cover calling them the new "roadsters". I would love to see what you've got in mind.

honestly I don't remember what we came up with...but this has been discussed when it was issued again. I read through the TRaKable thread at the bottom of page 3 (your final comment on Dec. 21, 2011) and still was not sure if there was any conclusion. Maybe when I have more done so it can be judged by how it really turns out, I will post it in a new TRaKable thread and see if any reaction. ...or maybe just post a photo in the diorama area, if I ever make a bit more progress on my Diner diorama.
