Well, our current Rod MOM wears a set of 'em. But since you ask, I'm actually not that a big fan of them personally - They seem like a modern interpretation of an older Halibrand design... Not sure how Bob feels about them, though.

These wheels are a ringer for the original spindle mount style of a 'kidney bean' wheel. The difference is a missing rib from edge to center, where the lug bolts are on the modern wheel. The originals were for the front axle only. If they qualify or not is up to others. The info was verified with a site called 'Classic Wheels'

I think they look fine, if I can snag one of those kits I will be using them.....at least the tires for sure.
