This is a build I started some time ago and have drug it back out again and have decided to finish it. It's probably pushing the rules a bit but I think it does comply with the "spirit" of TRaK but I figured I better ask before I start a build thread on it, in fact I may have started a thread on it several years ago, I don't remember. Attachment DeletedThis is based on the Revell of Germany BMW 3/15 PS which was just an Austin 7 built under license. Austin 7's were licensed and built in the US as well and that's kinda the story behind this model, a depression era home-built hot rod/speedster. David

"4. It's really very simple......Traditional styled pre-1970 rod (1969 and older) , kustom (concepts are acceptable) , vintage drags and salt flat cars ONLY! (some pre 40's dirt trackers and other racers are acceptable)" Interesting idea there with your Austin/BMW. I guess this would fit in under the "some pre 40's racers" clause and the rules don't say anything about non USA manufactured cars. In my opinion if a Model T speedster would be allowed as an early example of a hot rod then so should this. For everyone's reference:

Anyone who questions whether a cycle car or similar vehicle belongs on a site like this needs their head examined. heheh. Just because Europe didn't adopt the "no replacement for cubic inches" mentality that we did here in the states...doesn't make these little buggars any less hot rods. Bruthus-from-utha-muthas is all.
I was a little excited to see this when it was first posted. Anything become of it?

Nope, haven't done anything more. I've been in a multi-year modeling slump and can't seem to get out of it.

Been there...all you can do is roll with it and keep trying now and then. Something will flip the switch again.
