hmm good one, not sure Rick....seems a bit retro/modern to me. I don't know? I am saying that because of what it is....not because of how it's styled. Does building a hot rod Dues put it into the rat rod category?....confusing. This is a learning curve..what do others think?

Yeah Bob, know what you mean, not sure many hot rodders could afford to tear down and hop up a 'Duesey' tho I hear Clark Gable drove a very fast one around Hollywood looking for races, with fenders I believe. I have seen pics of a late thirties Cord that a freinds dad and uncle ran at the lakes in the '40s, sans fenders. I think I remember a late '20s or early '30s Lincoln or maybe it was a Cad, w/out fenders that ran on the lakes with a severely set back engine. I can't seem to find pics of it just now, does anyone else know of this machine?

Maybe not a brand new one, but before they were considered classics, they were just old cars. Some were converted into trucks, some were scrapped, and some were remade as homebuilt specials. I've heard of at least one Duesenberg powered Deuce rod, so the idea isn't that far fetched.

Looks to have ratrod styling albeit without the usual "ratty-ness" I'm just sayin'.......

I have to say no - It's mainly a vintage luxury car without fenders.
Yes,there are some bizarre actual examples of similar cars powering sawmills etc. but this just looks like a glorified rat-rod - sorry!

I have to say no - It's mainly a vintage luxury car without fenders... It also looks to have been channelled and lowered. But I do have to also say no. It seems to be another case of just because it could have been done doesn't mean it would have been done. Shame though as you did a good job.
