I'm back with some changes finally! I've been working on both ends since the last post. The first picture shows the rounded hood corners and the headlights I'll be using. I carved the headlights out of the A Brother's custom AMT '63 Ford units. They're attached to backup plates I made for them. Another picture of the front end. A while back I'd had an idea to create some different hoods over the headlights. I drew a line on the centers of the tops of the fenders then just let the idea sit for a couple of weeks. The idea was to put a crease on the tops of the fenders and now that they're done I see some Plymouth influence in them. There's been a lot of work done on the rear end too. I had a license plate recess sketched on an earlier picture so that has been added. For this picture I put in the taillight lenses so you guys can see them in place. The small bumpers came from the same AMT 59 Elcamino as custom parts. I'm almost finished working on the rear rolled pan blending it into the new rear quarter panel shape. I've tried to not go too far with the modifications to the good looking 58 Chevy body, but I have tried to lighten it up a bit and just smooth the overall look. Thanks for looking in. Gary

A true customizer!!!!!!!! I love seeing your work Gary! If only you'd make some of these customs for me to cast! You can make the bodies and I'll do the interiors! LOL!

Randy's Olds in is Rubber already! LOL! Although, I am not sure how much of a pain in the ass it is going to be to cast yet due to the severe undercut of the front portion of the rear fenders.

I really like the shaping on this one. It still looks like a '58 Impala, but everyone can see that it has been Customized a lot. I really like especially the grille and headlights. I can't wait to see more updates.
