Cool! Nice to see some new art from you. I recognize the third one I know I need to practice too, but it never seems to happen!

Cool! Nice to see some new art from you. I recognize the third one I know I need to practice too, but it never seems to happen! You recognize the photo of the 3rd car? Is that a famous car? I was considering making a painting based on that but I'm a little leary of doing that since I don't know the origin of the photo. David

If it's the car I'm thinking of, I don't think it's famous, but the photo gets around on the HAMB. Sepia or b/w photo, car has butchered A-pillars, right? I don't know the origin either, unfortunately, and I can't seem to find it in my _massive_ horde of downloaded image!

That's what I love about art. I'll also give the background a more rural rustic feel than the suburb feel in the original photo and maybe add a figure. BTW, a little OT but I just finished this little painting last night, 6" X 6" Attachment DeletedDavid

Hey, nice work! I particularly like the watercolor one. Looks like a beautiful location for a car show!

Thanks Chris. Yes, that is a nice place for a car show. It takes place in a small town 40 miles East of Salt Lake City called Coalville. They close off main street with it's historic buildings and homes and the cars line up backed to the curb. I wish more car shows were held in such nice settings!
