Steve, your attention to detail is amazing - have you thought of having the body cast in resin?

Steve, when you said "you made the floor and fenders one cohesive unit", could you show us that unit by itself. Honestly, I pulled out my Revell 36 project and it does look a little airy. I'm glad you've got this going again. Gary

This build is pure porn, I guess Monograms 1936 Ford have never looked as good as this build!

Beautiful work, and I agree with the others that it's almost a shame to cover up all that nice bodywork with a coat of paint. Almost... But if you've ever seen a Steve Boutte paintjob, you know it'll be worth covering it all up.

Thanks, Steve. There's some food for thought here. I keep looking at your grille. Did you remove the horizontal bars on it? Gary

The Hollywood flipper hubcaps are now available from Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland. They are concave on the backside & will fit a few different kit wheels without much modification. The wheels that I know they will fit on are Revell-Monogram '36 Ford, '40 Ford, '48 Ford & Galaxie LTD '47 Chevy. On some of these, you'll need to remove or relocate the valve stem for the best fit. To order them, you can use both the phone number: 410 - 768 - 3648 and the email address: replmincomd@aol.com. This is what they will look like after chrome plating. Chrome Tech USA did the work.

I enjoyed going through this entire thread again. The filler you use seems very easy to work with. What is it?
