This project has been absolutely mired in frustration lately...but I've bodged some shock mounts onto the frame, squeezed the headlight stands in underneath them, and added blocks to the sides of the frame to attach a front nerf bar. Pretty BS engineering, but I think it'll work, more or less. Also started adressing the messy rear Z and clearancing the wheelwells for the axle and spring, and cut down the rear pan from the fender unit to serve as a rollpan.

Travis' "east coast coupe" update reminded me about this old project. I have torn out the front shock mounts and am trying to come up with something better. Also have been contemplating changing the induction setup...I like the overall vibe of the original blower and tri-carb, but I don't like the seam on the air cleaners and the lack of detail on the carbs. Plus, it feels like every model I'm currently building has a blower and I'm getting sick of setting up pulleys and belts! Since the whole point of this car was to be kind of awkward and eccentric, I thought I might take the opportunity to give it a truly different engine by adding a slingshot intake intended for an inline 6. Next, I might try putting the dual round air cleaners with V8 pattern mesh on top of the slingshot, see how it looks.

Out of all of those I like the dual 4bbl best.

Either the Duel 4BBL or the Triple 2BBL.
