I figure this one might be borderline. The wheels originate in the 60's but weren't widely used in hot rods, that I'm aware of. I tried them on the build almost as a joke but was surprised on how nicely they went with the overall look of the model. Whatcha think?

Wow. 31 views and no one has an opinion? I guess that's a responce in itself.

Sort of a thin line here; technically, it fits the timeframe. Personally, I like the look, like someone used take-offs from a Corvette or Camaro. I like it but I don't have the final say.

Wow. 31 views and no one has an opinion? I guess that's a responce in itself. Oh, I am responsible for one of those. I checked in yesterday evening and had to think about it. I'd personally say no even if it's all possible. But in my opinion it's more "street-machine-ish". However, I'd say put a set of moon caps temporarily and get some shots because I really like the build and would like to see it on the shelf, it's all thumbs up

Sorry - As nice as it looks, the concept of Rallye wheels on a Tri-Five Chevy doesn't really fit within the "traditional custom" term.

...not to say they might not look really fine on a variety of 'square' chevs they'd be sportin' on a '64 Biscayne, a '65 nova, or a '66 El kamino.

Well if you guys want to see it then, drop by the Under Glass section on the MCM forum. I saw a thread earlier that was wondering why participation is down here. I think I might know.
