glad somebody was paying attention. my question was "is that TRaK-able?" Well lets see....It's an ad, not a build, it's set in period, it features a flying car in a retro futuristic way so that would be custom and most of all it's a joke meant to hopefully lighten things up around here a little and that's why I posted it. So yeah..I'd say so. Anybody?

LOLOL. Is that literally a plastic "flame" raccoon-tail that you attach to your exhaust pipes?? Non-inflammable, ok, so it must be made of something else. What a silly idea

LOL! But it does give your car that ever important " Jet Look"! Imagine how sad and dusty and limp those flames would look when the car was parked. Rofl.

I scanned a whole 1952 Ansen Automotive Engineering catalog ... Awesome! Thanks. 1952 seems to be the pivotal year. Virtually the only parts offered for the new OHV V8s were camshafts. Otherwise the focus is almost completely on the FoMoCo flatheads (4's and V8s) and the GMC inline 6's.

I scanned a whole 1952 Ansen Automotive Engineering catalog here:
Thanks! The midget and hot rod racing history and the race tips are wonderful additions to the neato parts info. There are lots of non-Ansen items shown here, too, along with some entertaining goofy items I hadn't even heard of.
