Those injector tubes look wicked tough. Damn! The hand-op master cylinder is a part I'm not familiar with, very cool. Looks like I need to buy a Miss Deal kit (need the La Salle, too). Also...apparently some Revell '32 kits were molded in dark grey?? Thanks! One of my Revell ‘32 Sedan chrome trees turned out to be dark gray under the chrome. It definitely surprised me because every other kit I’ve had from the series (a lot!) were the same white plastic under the chrome, including 2 other sedans. I'm guessing it was an early part of the first run. Based on the test shots that have been popping up from former Revell employees lately, which have mostly been that grey color. This think is looking kick-ass Dennis. Saw this update on FB last night and was hoping it would be here when I logged in this morning. Scratchbuilding and parts sourcing are spot on as per usual from your bench

That's really looking good! The interior and the underside steering gear details are especially nice.

Now all I have to do is do it some justice with color choice and paint workmanship... Yeah, since I won't join Facebook again Wes Hofferber has decided to share my work on there. He truly is an awesome friend! He says there's been some really positive comments on this thing.

UPDATE! Most of the parts for the ‘28 are final prepped and coming to work with me to get primed. I need to figure out the final color scheme quick!

You're making me drool! What issue (Revell kit) had the mag wheels molded in black? I thought I have had most of the kits that came with these Americans; but don't recall any being molded in black.

Those are from the Miss Deal Stude and I am pretty sure it was the most recent reissue. I threw them in the Whestley’s a couple of weeks ago along with a bunch of other stuff and finally got around to pulling everything out and rinsing it this morning and didn’t expect to see anything black in there. I guess I didn’t pay much attention to the bare spots after cutting the wheels from the sprue.

Yeah, that is odd. The Miss Deal Studes I've had were molded in light blue, light teal, or white.

Yeah, that is odd. The Miss Deal Studes I've had were molded in light blue, light teal, or white. The rest of the kit that the wheels (and chrome tree) came from is white. I've also had a Revell '32 Sedan that I found dark grey plastic under the chrome, which is where the axle and tie rod that I'm using for this model came from. I've had dozens of Revell 32's over the years and that's the only one that hasn't been white under the chrome. I dunno...

Man do I dig those headers now compared to how they look right out of the '34 Ford 5 window coupe kit! LOL!

Man do I dig those headers now compared to how they look right out of the '34 Ford 5 window coupe kit! LOL! I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Your collector cones gave them that all-business race car look but those parts pack flanges made them a whole new part. Now I'm gonna have to keep my eye out for cheap 283's!
