Welcome to the new special edition of A,R,E. Post up your completed 2018 TRaKable builds! It's ok if you've posted them before. This Thread is for you to share your build year in review with the TRaK family and for stories, comments and friendly discussion. Enjoy!

Here are my TRaKables for 2018. 6 of the 8 projects that got completed this year qualify clearly, the final months of the year bei9ng largely dominated by the mad goal of building one entry for each of the 4 Autorama classes. One blew up on my big time, the Competition entry, a Fiat Competition Coupe whose paint went south on my at the 11th hour. It'll likely get done in 2019 if the resin bodywork holds up. Below I've also included my '57 Corvette which walked a mighty thin line between TRaK or not, the aim being to do 3 versions, the final one being clearly TRaKable since it is to be a Bonneville version. But it's sitting in its box pending completion of a proper tonneau cover. I've included it as an addendum since it was tolerated by you all due to its "Show" version and flashy candy blue paint.
2018 was a good year here on TRaK with the arrival of several talented new members, and a general renewal of the TRaK spirit.
All my best wishes to you all for a happy and fulfilling 2019.

Very nice builds, all of them! Ron's '49 Ford is probably the cleanest Box Art replica of that kit I've ever seen. Very nicely done. That is one version that I'll have to build one day, too.
All of Bernard's builds are very nice, too. If I had to pick a favorite, I think I'd go with the '49 Ford or that '57 Corvette. I think you really nailed the look on both of them. But like I said, all of them are very nice. Even though not TRaKable, and absolutely out of my interest range, that tuner is very well done too. Had not seen that before, surprising to see it coming from your bench.
I had a good year this time. I can't even remember when was the last time when I was able to finish more than one model in a year, but this time it happened. First I finished this '64 Ford Thunderbolt in the spring...
After the summer that was mostly spent Drag Racing with our 1:1 scale Stock Eliminator car and building my 1:1 Chevy II Gasser, I was able to finish my entry for the Autorama contest, a '59 El Camino.
Hopefully I can finish something this year as well!
This is a good spot to drop a quick note or ask for help. If you are in a bad mood, this isn't the right spot to drop feelings. Thanks for understanding!

krassandbernie: Yup! I have 3 that are 'seconds'.......which are nicer than what you'd get most anywhere else; or you can just order one. Send me a pm if you are still interested; and we can go from there.
