Thanks Robert. Kerry, yes this is the Moebius A/FX Comet chassis, engine & suspension. Roger, I had to delete the fan but otherwise everything fits (just barely) between the firewall and radiator. Front suspension installed:

I didn't care for the AMT hood so I modified the tear drop hood from the Trumpeter Street & Strip kit. AMT: Modified Trumpeter: Stance:

This is looking very nice so far! That Trumpeter hood is a huge upgrade compared to the AMT one which would have required a lot of work to get look right. Also that core support turned out great. Nice work!

Thanks Charley. Got the headers pin mounted. Replaced to oil breathers with nicer units from HRM. Drilled out the molded screen on the intake trumpets, might leave them open or install real screen later.

The engine looks flawless! Excellent use of different shades of silver/grey on the engine parts. I wonder what did you use to paint the cylinder heads and oil pan? I could figure out many uses for that color too.

Looks like someone has started offering copies of the Moebius cammer on ebay. I may have to buy one based on your buildup of it here. I know it's not perfect, but it looks damn good when treated well like you have here.

I could figure out many uses for that color too. Thanks Niko. The valve covers are painted Tamiya Titanium Silver. The oil pan (as well as the Holley carbs) are painted Tamiya Titanium Gold. All have a brown wash applied. Not crazy about the brown was on the valve covers, might change it to a black wash.

I removed the brown wash on the valve covers and went with a black was in the ribs only.
