Great job - It sure looks better than the mess of a frame and interior AMT tossed in, when they decided to convert the obsolete annual kit into an altered wheelbase.

Great job on the engine, I like the change you made in the wash in your later post. Does anyone know why the dual quad Holleys were run “backwards”, ie, secondaries in front?

Thanks Craig & Robert. Engine is finished: Great job on the engine, I like the change you made in the wash in your later post. Does anyone know why the dual quad Holleys were run “backwards”, ie, secondaries in front? Thanks Kerry. I don't know the answer on the carb orientation but confirmation they were installed this way.

Looking nice JC! IIRC, the T-Bolt 427s had the secondaries up front also. I wonder if it has anything to do with the air coming in from the rear of the tear drop scoop?
It would take some work. But, if you could open up the grille bars, it would really set that front end off.
I had all of the AWB kits at one time. I built the Nova and once I saw they all had the same chassis, I traded them all away. Kinda wish I had kept the "Georgia Shaker" though.

The front clip should not be visible below the bumper but such are the challenges of getting everything to line up in kit bashing. Since it will be exposed I decided to detail it. Before: After:

Looking very good! I always enjoy following this kind of projects and this one is no exception. The modified front end is looking excellent. Good call separating the grill and bumper from each other, and detailing the front end of the subframe made a big difference. Can't wait to see more updates!

That's one nice looking 427 SOHC, almost needs a miniature Dyno Don figure tweeking on the carbs! Holy Cow every time I take a peek at this thing it becomes an extended drooling gander at your fine work, very impressive work all around indeed!
