While I don't have personal experience building the AMT '34, this sure looks a lot better than most of the versions I've seen done from that kit. You did an excellent job, it sure has the correct look and feel of the 1:1 scale inspiration. That flawless deep red paint job has to be one of my favorite things in this whole model. Very nicely done.

The wheels and tires, the colors, and all of the proportions are just soooooo right!

Screw false modesty, you have every damned right to be justifiably proud of this stunning model. From every angle it looks not just right, but damned solid perfect, both in capturing the 1/1 & in other aspects. This is a knocked out of the park kinda build, & just oozes elegance, style & smoothness.

Turned out great, love the color, stance, chrome wheels, engine detailing, tall tires...and the brass foil on the radiator tank!
I'd be curious to know what things you had to fiddle with to make the AMT '34 more true to life...I see the splash aprons have been filled (the kit items have a bit notch, right?) and did you modify the windshield frame?

Another super build! Where did the dual quad Cadillac intake come from or did you make it from a 3 x 2 manifold?

That is one smashing model, if it wasn't on your workbench I'd swear it was the real thing 1/1, thanks for posting it.

Thanks guys - glad you all like it as much as I do. I kind of struggle to remember everything that was done. I have several builds that go on for years and I just come and go on them when I get the urge. I definitely reshaped the roof gutters and the windscreen was raised up about a scale inch so the top sits level with the windows. I think I also raised the rear window and reshaped the roof turret. There's a lot wrong with that kit body! And the chassis is even worse!

Another super build! Where did the dual quad Cadillac intake come from or did you make it from a 3 x 2 manifold? Thanks. I think the carbs came from a Hemi engine and I just adapted them to work on the cut down triple carb manifold from the Revell Merc kit. The air cleaners came from a Rat Roaster kit.
