Hi guys! First post in a very long time, actually since Photobucket messed everything up but I've been lurking just below the radar checking in occasionally to keep my spririt up. So, this is one of the builds I've managed to finish that fits here on TRAK. My father wanted a candy apple red Elkie, so as a good son I built one for him. Took the wheels from the AMT Gasman kit and lowered the suspension. Otherwise a straight from the box build with little hustle on the way. /Niclas

She's a beaut! The rake, mags n' whitewalls, and gold roof give it just the custom flavor it needs. Nice job on the scripts and trim, too! Welcome back and thanks for posting this Elky

Really good looking El Camino! That color choice is excellent for it, I've always liked the combination of red and gold...And that red is just perfect shade for this body style! I think the lowered stance together with the wheel&tire choice and very nice and clean BMF work (especially that El Camino molding on the front fender turned out fantastic!) give it a perfect look. Definitely one of the better versions I've seen done from this kit!

Sharp! Sleek and low. I like the gold roof with the body color too.
