nice work Dennis, your builds always get better and better and I don't mean they weren't ever good...they are always great! I dig the wheels on this one!

UPDATE!I've been working away at getting everything for this project into paint over the last couple of weeks. Chassis Parts: Engine: (which is fully assembled except for the carburetors and their fuel lines) The main color I chose is Tamiya TS59 Pearl Light Red. Wheels and brakes. Whitewalls have been hit with flat clear. Floor, wheel wells, firewall and other small parts. The floor and wheel wells were hit with semi-gloss clear for a slightly unfinished look since their under the car. The interior parts and top which are a combo of Tamiya Light Earth with semi-gloss clear and Deck Tan with flat clear. The body and grill shell are in their final primer coat and will be getting color and clear later in the coming week. At the last minute I decided to add some molded-in beads around the seam lines of the filled wheel wells so it wasn't so slab sided and to give the arc of the tires something to reference. Parts Is Parts!

Rad. That paint color is pretty cool! Love the detail on the lever shocks.

It's like someone colorized the old black and white pocket mags from the early '50's!!!!!!!

It's like someone colorized the old black and white pocket mags from the early '50's!!!!!!! Have to agree with Ed, that's just one sweet little Hot Rod. What's not to like!

It's like someone colorized the old black and white pocket mags from the early '50's!!!!!!! That’s kinda what I was going for. Basically a hot rod made up of 40’s type parts but maybe update by a new owner in the 50’s with current paint trends.

UPDATE!After letting it sit the appropriate amount of time I went ahead and polished and waxed the body, firewall and grill shell for this project. At this point everything is ready for final assembly which I hope to get to soon.

That engine is almost too nice to stick in the frame rails! LOL! The paint job on this one is pretty slick too!

This shows your meticulous work as always Dennis. I love that it strays from the usual '29 roadster. Looks like it could be on the cover of Car Craft Magazine from the 1950's.
