I have to say I had my concerns initially about the TRaKability of this one but it's just so cool and screaming out that 1960s vibe that you've laid my fears to rest. I cannot wait to see how this turns out, so many imaginative touches already.

I like the visual statement that the single-stripe tires make...somehow they draw the eye more than the thin triple-pinners. I'm glad that previous coat of blue paint wasn't final, haha. It still needed some bodywork

The blue was instead of a first primer, and as a test to let me know if I was thinking in the right direction. I have tested the color on another body with clear coat and it looks AWESOME!

I'm sorry to admit. Have been following this build with a suspiciousness mind.. even had a hard time to see TRaKability. BUT.. the interior made my mind up. And now, when U show the body in colour I have no dubts what so ever. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CAR right out of a 60´s showroom! Great cretivity Marcus!

I guess this build have been a big questionmark for the most of all here on TRaK but I have studied my books before i started the build, and even more along the process of building this one. My plan was to build it with wide white wall tires in a 60’s style BUT, since it is a mid 60’s car I changed my mind when i saw som pics on the internet and googled on some sites to find the perfect period look for it. Thinner white wall tires and mag wheels would be the best. It have been a realy fun challange for me to build and staying on TRaK with this but i promised you all a ac cobra as you never have seen it before.

That color is sweet. Wheels and tires look great.
I was one of those that was vocal in the beginning about making sure it ended up being TRaK-able. I have known for years parts pulled from modern vehicles CAN be made TRaKable. It makes me think of one of my in-scale customizing gurus, JonDutch(John Berry) and what he has done with modern parts many times most natably with his Viper based bubbletop. But we (mods) have to be diligent to make sure the end result is undoubtedly TRAK. You've pulled it off here. Kuddos to you

Dude! That gold mesh looks fantastic. Funny, I had planned to put mesh in the doors of both my '32 custom-rod project and '40 Kustom, but hadn't found the right stuff yet. Now I have some perfect inspiration, so thanks!

Those wheel wells look like Mrs.Claus' armpits. Lol! Love the period-correct touches. I need to find myself some white fake fur. *edit* all the dollar stores have Halloween stuff in stock right now, but the other day I did manage to find some clear plastic domes that were intended to be DIY Christmas ornament globes. Maybe I should go back and look for Santa hats now.
