Scratch-bashed steering column, gear and drag link. Revell '41 Willys KS Pitman gasser rear axle, suspension and ladder bars. Revell Miss Deal wheels, tires and slicks. Revell /62 Corvette engine block, heads and transmission. AMT parts pack Moon timing cover. AMT parts pack Magneto - wired. AMT Double Dragster Hilborn injection intake modified with scratch built fuel block, velocity tubes and full plumbing. Scratch built fuel tank. AMT '34 5-Window headers modified with Revell parts pack 283 Chevy flanges and Drag City Casting collectors. Scratch built floor and firewall. Drag City Casting seat with scratch built brackets and vintage AMT seatbelt. Revell Miss Deal steering wheel. Revell vintage parts pack hand operated master cylinder. AMT '28 Sedan kit optional full roll cage cut down to fit with chop. Tamiya Spray Cans: Light Gun Metal, Mica Silver and Brilliant Orange. All decals from AMT Retro Deluxe '40 Coupe.

Turned out sick! The stance, wheel-tire package, engine setback, chop, and everything else combine to make this a model with serious personality. Thanks for sharing all the nitty-gritty parts-sourcing and assembly details; it's been a treat watch this one come together!

Man, that came out great. I can just picture it screaming down the track at full throttle.
Glad I finished mine first a few months ago to avoid comparisons to this stellar offering from your bench.

Thanks so much, guys, for your really nice comments. I'm pretty damn proud of this one and happy as hell with the final look of it. I'm also really glad I pushed myself to do the injector plumbing and some of the other little details like the firewall decal collage, parachute and club plaque. It wouldn't have near the impact without those elements.
