I like where this is going! The body looks very good and your color choice is just right. My favorite part however is the use of the Ford Y-Block which is something we don't see very often.

We're all watching Dennis. She's a beaut. It really looks like a root beer brown after the clear coat. I like the color.y

Really nice work as always! I can't wait to see how this comes together, and especially how well the white engine and suspension parts will contrast with the body color (dark-ish body color and white engine/suspension combination works every time).

WoW, Dennis that looks amazing! From the Pictures, that color looks like a “Root Beer Bronze” or that’s what I’d be telling people. Like that stance, from the rear 3/4 it looks like something out of Pete & Jake’s Shop, almost sits like the “California Kid” from that rear 3/4 view, then again I can’t see any view that’s not amazing! Keep it going might be some of your bestest work, I think that about every one you do though, they just seem to get better!
One of these days you should post a side by side of some of your earlier work with your latest stuff, I think it would be great to see how you’ve grown as a modeler (artist). I like doing that with my watercolor paintings. I can see right away the difference in techniques, where and how certain methods clicked in and were finally mastered. That’s what I’m suggesting you do with a few models for your own critique. I’d just enjoy seeing some of them again, then seeing that comparison and contrast would just be a huge bonus!

I love this one, Dennis! It's got real "attitude" with that aggressive chop and raked stance. Great work!

Yeah, it really surprised me how dark the color got once the clear coat went on. I wasn’t expecting that at all but luckily I love how it looks! Definitely not that same old thing. I have a Revell 32 5-Window I built quite a few years ago now. When this one is finished I’ll put them side by side for some pictures. When I look at my older work past about 4 years ago it appears to me as though it’s somebody else’s compared to what I’m doing now. I for sure feel like I’ve finally “got there”, so to speak. But with that comes some added pressure of “staying there”!

maybe I missed it..but what tires did you use? They are PURRRFECT! The front tires are the little Pirelli drag front runners that come in some Revell kits like the last couple of issues of the ‘31 Sedan, Miss Deal Studabaker funny car and some others. The rear tires have been in a bunch of Monogram and Revell kits, one source being the 1932 Roadster “Hiboy”

I always thought those little Pirelli tires were too small for anything but a T, but they look AOK here! This build is looking tough as hell. Can't wait to see the engine all installed.
