Love it! I like that box art too, and you certainly did justice to it. I much prefer the single side pipes to the double ones.

Kool!! That's so Swell, it should be by Mattel! Absolutely love that Inca Gold paint!! I was thinking about shooting that on the '57 F100 that I'm working on, guess it's the Graphite Metalic Gray now!! What color primer did you shoot it over? Bet that realy pops in person.
The idea of curbside is growing on me, especially with that huge engine bay on these '53 - '56 F100's, nearly anything even the Hemi starts getting lost under that hood. Guess I'll have to start looking around for an engine bottom for my '53 because seeing yours and Dennis' superb F100's sans-motors. I like the idea of putting the effort into the part that's going to show, versus an engine that's not so much. Maybe just use the engine for something to hook the exhaust to and sealing the hood shut!. Thanks for giving the rest of us something to think about doing differently.

Thanks for all the kind words. I used white primer under the gold just because I wanted a brighter color but, I have sprayed gray primer under this color. With white primer I only needed 3 coats of gold. Also the pearl white I used on everything else really brings out the gold. I am getting older and I have so many projects I want to do and finish that I am starting to build maybe 5 curbsides and then I with more details and motors. Just my style especially with mainly just showing stuff on the internet instead of in person.

That is so good looking I feel it is time to build a "pick-um-up" truck model. Great job (love the paint job).

Looks good! The color really pops in those outdoor shots, it looks perfect on this Pickup. Also the combination of black and white interior and the gold paint works extremely well. Very nice work.
