I like the wire wheels...but maybe that's because I've had a Chrysler 300 project with wire wheels sitting on the backburner for ages. It was going to be pearl white, too. I think my second pick would the chrome-reverse wheels. Looking forward to seeing more!

Ooooo. Makes me want to break out my 6 four. Lol I bought a resin Chevelle hood though that doesn't quite fit.

Ooooo. Makes me want to break out my 6 four. Lol I bought a resin Chevelle hood though that doesn't quite fit. Inspiration is why we are here! =) My hood is also resin, and I had to reshape the lip a bit, could not keep letters. To fit any hood with fenders or in rear I first tape/fix corresponding side and then use a thin strip of abrasive (320-600) and shape the most uneven area.. hood or fender or backradius. In this way they get the same line.

Yeah the sides are too narrow. I'll figure it out. I don't really know what I want to do with it yet.

With the pearl white you have planned, I would use the wire wheels. Are those from the '65 Riviera?

Wires is my 1:st thougt when I got inspired to search after one.. these came out of a Sihouette kit. Same style as the ones from Riviera but my last set from a Riviera where wider.. dont know bout the latest edition.

I like a 65, but prefer a 64. So, I'm a little jealous.
I vote for the chrome reverse

One thing that bugs me about the El Camino and the wagon is the orientation of the dashboard. It needs to be tilted downward. I built the '65 wagon many years ago and really wish I had fixed that issue. If I ever build another one, I'll definitely fix it.

Wow! We very rarely see a '64 El Camino being built. I like these cars and the '64 is one of the best looking year models. Your starting point looks really good. I'd go with the Chrome Reverses, but I'm sure whatever you end up with, is going to look excellent when it's done.

I'm curious at what the last choice is? Are they from the AMT/Ertl 55 Nomad?

I tend to see the 200-S Daisy mags as a 1970s wheel since they were on the Two Lane Blacktop '55 Chevy. I am guessing they are in fact a product of the late 1960s though...?
I'd go with the wires, along with pearl paint and some Bellflowers, but the reverses don't look bad either.
