Another fine and true Full Custom from your bench. I had to go back to the w.i.p. to remind myself where the wheelbase got altered. The pleated panel behind the rear window goes a long way towards balancing the proportions. I also remember when I first saw the hood scoop i wondered how that would work. But with the roof scoop and the shiny sculpted surfaces it all comes together nicely. A handsome show car in the authentic style.

Radical! Ditto Bernard's comments on the pleated panel...it's unconventional and adds some "punctuation" to the car. This model is so crazy, it almost makes those ornate wheel covers seem mundane Love the use of horizontal '57 chevy custom parts to form the bug-eyed taillights. I really enjoy seeing authentically built 60s-style models, and this one's a perfect example. Thanks for sharing all the WIP photos too!

This looks exactly like something I could imagine seeing in a car show in the 1960s. I've always thought that these '59-'60 Chevrolets don't need much body modifications, but this one proves that they can look excellent even after a more radical re-styling as well. Very nice work overall. First I was a bit unsure about the front end styling, but now when it's all finished it looks really good like that. I like the color combo too.
