What a pile of..............nice parts you got going on there John! I like the Ardun head flattie you are shoe-horning in there! Do you have the roof glued onto the body already; or is it just sitting in place? I tried to keep the fit at least as nice as the original Revell pieces were so that there aren't any unsightly gaps to deal with.

Lookin' good so far! I like the retaining tabs for aligning the body on the frame (and possibly providing a glue point later). I have a set of those Modelhaus tires, just waiting to find the right project for them...

The top is still just setting there, I will glue it on before paint, I put the rail/tabs on the top of the chassis to help align, locate and keep the body level. I could have done the chassis an easier way, I have a few leftover kit chassis with the funky step in the rear of the chassis.

Duane. The top is the same height that comes in the kit, which is around a 3 inch chop I think.

First off, great to see you posting again, John!
Second, you’re off to an awesome start! Fantastic collection of parts. These Revell based A’s look so much better on the ‘32 series frame rails without the step in the back and stretched wheelbase.

I think those stepped frames in the '29 roadster and '30 Model A coupe kits look like ass! John's frame looks perfect! Did you pinch the rear frame rails a smidge John? I might have missed that if you mentioned it right off?

I did pinch the rear a little to make it fit inside the body.

John, that one looks sweet, sometimes Hemi’s just don’t fit between the firewall, you sure made it work so fine!
I think I’m one of the slugs on the TRAK board whom Mr. Ed, the Magnificent, is referring to who has failed to order the two bodies I was sposed to... Ed the check will be in the mail soon as I can sneak it by my wife!! LoL!
