John, that one looks sweet, sometimes Hemi’s just don’t fit between the firewall, you sure made it work so fine! I think I’m one of the slugs on the TRAK board whom Mr. Ed, the Magnificent, is referring to who has failed to order the two bodies I was sposed to... Ed the check will be in the mail soon as I can sneak it by my wife!! LoL! Actually, you weren't! LOL! I honestly did not have any particular person in mind...........just a general notion that sales here from TRAK members was relatively weak considering the subject matter and past sales.

It looks like the engine is an Ardun head flathead. Looks sweet.

Kool John, can't wait to see the updates. I have a 30 coupe build bouncing around in my head.

Back to work on this one, decided to use a deuce firewall to give me a little more room for the Ardun, also decided to put a hood on also, so I added a lip to support the hood. I also cut the trunk open and added a louvered trunk lid.

I dig it! The louvered deck lid looks good.......as does the deuce grille and hood! That being said, since you are working with a resin deck lid instead of styrene you can get away with taking a fresh razor blade (or you can choose a file instead); and remove one or two of the louvers in each row at the top of the deck lid so they look more properly spaced from the leading edge.......and you won't have to worry about them ghosting back. Just a suggestion!

Thanks Ed, I was thinking about removing a row or two of the louvers but was worrying about getting them removed smoothly,I didn't think about how much easier it is to do with resin !

Lol Ed. Look like ass. Ok. Now I want one. Maybe. Well it does! LOL! They were the first parts I tossed out when I opened up the boxes! LOL! Those ‘29/‘30 chassis fit really nice under the ‘26/‘27 T Coupe & Roadster bodies after they are backdated for a proper transverse spring set up. I’ve put one under a ‘27 T Coupe and am getting parts gathered to put another under a ‘26/‘27 T Roadster. Comes out with a perfect looking wheelbase that doesn’t look like the typical overly stretched in front of the engine frame that a lot of ‘26/‘27 T’s seem to suffer from.

I cut off the top two rows of louvers on my modified trunk lid so that it is more prototypical (thanks Ed), got it hinged and mounted the carbs to the intake and finalized the hood mods. No problem! It looks a million times better just by removing a couple of lovers off of each row! I like where your build is headed!
