I haven't been on the board much since you started this. Glad to be catching up with it. You're working your magic on yet another rare old body. I'll be following along.

Working on getting rid of the "slant-front" on the seats. Modified on left, before on right... Made a rear panel for the interior bucket and plugged the holes left by the removal of the original front seat... With the seat installed you won't be able to where the old seat was...

Wow, nice work on the seats - the sculpturing that you did on the lower part is incredible!

The use of the early Galaxie intieror parts is ultra bitchin.

That interior is looking a heckuva lot better thanks to your modifications. Neat trick, flipping the molding under the front seats!

Best 'simple' improvement on those old AMT seats (and the like) I've ever seen! Great work!

Definately going to watch this build,I have about every 59 Ford that Korris kars made and would like to experiment on one to see if they can be improved but they look to be a little more primitive.

Thanks, guys! I have been working on this car. In addition to more body work, I added a pair of lake plugs... Tailpipes... And a bed cover from V-groove sheet... Also finished the other seat, added interior door handle and window cranks, along with a '58 Plymouth steering wheel.

Rad. Very effective clean-up work so far; it's shaping up! I actually kinda like the coral color of the original plastic, too. Is the front bumper unit hanging loose, or does the kit really have a gap that big? It's entertaining to watch you fixing all the little things that make such a big difference in the appearance of these early kits.

Killer work on the interior!
Someone else mentioned it that the car looks really good in the color it's molded in and I completely agree.
