Here is my latest creation. "Backseat Driver" Obviously in the very early mockup stages, but you get the gist. Will retain the stock bench seat location in the rear and one verrrry long steering column. There will be LOTS of holes on this build! Fenders, visor, rear body panel, etc... Probably going to leave the roof alone unless someone can convince me to do otherwise. Also, any header suggestions?

I take it this is the Revell sedan and not the amt 28 sedan? I like it. Hmmm headers? I guess scratch built zoomie style would be cool but maybe too new for this build.

i really dig that you're using a 348/409. Very cool. Might want to decide now if you're going to try keeping the functional doors or glue them shut. The hinges are delicate and can be tricky to line up on the Revell 30 Dennis and I both built A based drag sedans last year. Ours were based on the MPC 28 Sedan. Dennis blew it out of the water with his 28, so I almost hate to post a pic of mine next to his. Dennis' Mine

I think im going to go with functioning doors, especially with the motor in the front seat...

Collin: Here's a couple of ideas: These are from the Chevoom Chevelle: Or maybe some old school weed burners:

Wow! I like this one already, and not only because of the Chevy W-Block engine! I like these old race cars that have lots of holes cut in them for weight reduction, so interesting to see how this turns out.
Maybe this will inspire me to build something similar, especially as I've been thinking about it before...

How about a steering column underneath coming up through the floor.

How about a steering column underneath coming up through the floor. I thought about that. I want to use as much of the box stock parts as I can.

Boy do I love the late tall T!
Weed burners are the way to go on your sedan. Well I think so anyway. Gary

Love it! I have a 409-powered '30 Tudor gasser on my backburner projects pile...I'll get back to it eventually. I like the idea of a set of huge long exhaust pipes dumping out under the back of the car, like scavenger pipes.

Just starting to lay down some ideas. Obviously would be properly spaced and in varying sizes. Thoughts?? Too many holes? Not enough?! Let me know what you think!
