Dang, that came out nice. I really like the way the tinted glass color works with the interior and paint choices. The body color looks like Testors enamel, is it? Nice job blending in the custom parts. It looks great Thanks Craig, good catch there on the paint. I used an old can of Testors' 1631 Burgundy Purple Metal Flake, decanted, thinned with Testors' airbrush thinner and sprayed with my 30 year old Paasche. No clear. I wish they would take all those old metallic and pearl colors and put them in their lacquer line. They haven't added any new colors in a very long time. Likelihood of that happening, near zero. But I can dream. I marvel at the results some people get with those enamels, your's included. I just don't have the technique and more once I switched to the Tamiya and Testors lacquers years ago.

I have a big stash of the old Testors' colors including the old Boyd's line and I always use them as I always know what to expect from them and rarely any surprises with decent results.

Outstanding work!! The custom front- and rear clip look better than they ever did on the AMT '57 - as do the Predicta headlights.

This is freakin' sweet! Love the color and wheel/tire combo and the interior is absolutely killer. The old AMT custom front and rear ends look better on this '55 than they do on the '57.

Is that an Inglorious Basterds reference?
