High End Work all the way through! Ditto on all the details already mentioned, multiple times; they all just fit together to make one striking '48 Custom. Having built one or three of these 48's both the IMC and Tester's varieties, makes it all that much more impressive to me. (There are some really well designed parts of the kit's design work and there are some rather clunky parts too! You worked through them and made it Cool!)
Probably the number one best part of this model is the paint finish. You resisted the modern, ultra rubbed, ultra shiny, slathered on miles deep ultra clear coated, glass smooth look for what appears to be a realistic lacquer candy paint job in scale with a sheen just like it should have for a 50's / 60's "Mild 'Shave and a Haircut' Custom"! Way to go! What's not to like!

This is a beautiful build of what I gather is a difficult kit. Congrats on making it look fantastic, also thank you for showing some of your methodology so we may pick up some tricks.
