A really nice Merc. What tips it off (literally) is the beautiful two tone green extremely glossy paint. It's a winner for sure. Gary

Cool! Love that later Merc dash and the Buick grille, and the green candy paint is sweet. I'm impressed that you scratchbuilt the rear bumper. That must have taken ages!

Yes it took a while do get it done. I had starte with a 1/25 '51 Mercury. I think it was an R&R body but I'm not sure. Because the Revell Merc is 1/24 I had to modify it. MAde a resin copy of the original and the I made another resin one frm the finiushed one. See the pictures top - resin copy from '51 Mercury Coupe (scale 1/25) bumper middle - modified new bumper bottom - finished resin copy of new bumper
