Holy crap! The ambition in this build is impressive, and I can already see you've achieved that Buick-looking form. No doubt this project will turn out as nice as the last one. When I see things like this, I feel like I'm not taking enough risks with my own projects! Can't wait to see more Is that a Monogram '56 Chevy rear bumper?

Heck yeah, major bodywork is happening here! I see a lot of 50's influence and I like that. Customs or kustoms whichever you prefer, I dig it. Nice! Gary

Man, that's an ambitious project. You're coming along fine. How do you keep the shapes on both sides symmetrical?

That's quite the amazing job you've done there! I'm in awe of your cut'em-up, precision slicing and dicing going from one GM family to another creating something new and a totally different cousin! I'll be watching this one as it progresses along from this stage to a finished Custom. Great job on seeing needs be done to morph one car into another, not sure I would have seen a Buick emerging from an Oldsmobile like a butterfly!
When you stop to think about it, it's kind of strange that no kit of the Buick Roadmaster is around. Could be the basis for some sweet Customs which could cover just about every custom style from traditional fifties lead sled to a highly detail painted low rider and just about everything in between. Have to admit that my favorite Buick Roadmaster style is a 50's Custom Convertible with enhanced stock style paint theme carrying over to it's leather interior in an elegant style that's reminiscent of the 30's coach built cars of the Hollywood movie stars.

Man, that's an ambitious project. You're coming along fine. How do you keep the shapes on both sides symmetrical? I googled on picture of a 1950 Buick and found a perfect side profile pic. Scaled it down to match the size of the oldsmobile. Thougt about printing the picture but ran out of ink. I have these two drawn templates to get everything symmetrical.

Badass! Love those seats so far.
Is that textured metal foil from the underside of a yogurt container? I have saved a couple sheets of that foil, but I have never used it. This is the first time I've seen someone else try this idea!
