Love how this is coming together. If there's a "classic" style shared among many of us here on TRaK this build is an ideal example of how to go about it. Can't wait for more...

Where have see seen this color before?! It sure does look good on your Model A! Nice choice on tires from Modelhaus too! Almost looks like the color of the first issue Stone, Woods & Cook Willys Coupe. Agreed on the choice of tires and wheels!

This is moving along nicely.
Did you order those tires and spiders from modelhaustires.com? If so, how was your experience?

I was actually making a joke......referencing Dennis' '32 Fordor sedan painted just this past week.

Thank you everyone, I am really enjoying putting this together here on TRAK. Such a great place to build!
Craig, I did order from modelhaustires.com, my experience was positive and relatively quick. I ordered at the height of COVID19 shutdown and they still shipped within a week. They do use USPS, which is way slower than ups or fed ex but I will be using them again soon. I also picked up some of the big and littles from the revell 29 pu sized for AMT wheels. They are nice as well.

Small update with a glamour shot because I will need to order some of RMOM headlights to finish it, so it may be a bit before it hits the shelf as a post. I have been called back to work so it was good timing.

Came out nice! Good timing for sure. At least you got a build in while you had the time off!

Yep, looks sharp! The pleated wheel arches are a cool touch. And I can't say I've ever seen that induction setup before!

It was ringing a bell, dimly, somewhere in the dusty depths of my brain, but the chrome finish threw me off: the one I own is the 90s Blueprinter un-plated version that's molded in black.

Ah, o.k...that will do it! LOL! I had both the plated and unplated issues; so I spotted it right away! LOL! If I were ever to use this set-up I'd have to make it a dual quad intake with one on each side (for symmetry!) ......even if one were forward and one were rearward! LOL!

I didn’t know much about it either but really liked the look of the asymmetric intake. The opposite of Ed, lol.
