This is the Moebius kit. I've never cared for the front and rear styling of this car but I bought the kit for the engine and chassis that I used elsewhere. So, that left three possibilities: 1. Sell the remaining parts (maybe somebody would want them for a slot car racer). 2. Leave it in the stash in case I had a need for it someday. 3. Cobble up a floor and stuff to hold the wheels in place to make a curbside.
I don't really need another project but I chose number 3. I should be able to adapt some of the custom body and interior parts from the AMT '65 Pontiac Grand Prix then do a wild '60s paint job. It won't be progressing any time soon, though, but it's now ready for the creative part of the process. The tread width is a little narrow so I'll be widening that the next time I get back to working on it.

I like the idea! If I had a spare Catalina kicking around, I'd lop the rear quarters and doors off and splice 'em onto a '58 Chevy. Looking forward to seeing where this build goes!
